amira immortality's curseborn takes their place in the story. born in the caves of an age no record names, she has carried her memories through every ending the world has seen, or so she holds. she remembers what came before, and before that, and before that still, all the way to the first breaking, and forward to the most recent one. none of it can leave her. when she tries to speak any of it, her throat opens and bleeds before a word escapes, and so the memories stay where they are: inside her, whole and useless, and entirely her own burden. everything in her remembers. and yet there is nothing she can do. and so she continues living.
