Rita's Origin

Rita the thing takes their place in the story. Rita kinda just showed up one day, with no idea where she was or why she was even on there. She calls herself Rita, but people started calling her “The Thing” once they realized she definitely wasn’t human. She mostly keeps to herself, trying to figure out what she is while avoiding people who see her as a monster.

Rita's Life So Far

No biography yet. The Chronicler writes one once this name has enough behind it to be worth condensing.

What is in a name?

A name is the person the record knows. Deeds and tales belong to the name their teller wore when they happened, so a name laid to rest stays true for its own time.

A player of standing may keep several names, worn one at a time. Each calls its own land home, and no two names in the realm are ever the same, including retired ones.
