Sigrúna is the ancient goddess of prosperity, growth, harvest and trade, worshipped by the people of ventralia since the earliest days of the first settlement of "mariesabode" Her name derives from the ancient and forgotten language of old ventralian, although the language is lost it is speculated that the name might have translated to "She who knows the Secret of Victory" Although this is mere speculative.

William was born on an island with his lone mother, she taught him everything he knows and he holds her very deer. The life on the island was rough, he had to fight bandits to keep their house intact and hunt for food on the daily to get by. He lives on the once glories island of "ventralia"

Mariesabode has been a settlement for centuries, the old settlement was founded by "marie" and has been a very prominent figure in local politics including trade and minor war in the past. Today it stands, although it has fallen from the glory it once held it is still settled by a few loyal citizens who vow to keep the once great island to high standards.
