Archie Farwing

Archie settled into his boat, rod in hand, and some baits, with nothing but the sound of the waves to keep him company. The sun hung lazily overhead as he cast his line into the water, comfortable to just let the hours pass.

Eventually, Archie reached the summit. He was met by the warm sun, its light prickling at his eyes after hours spent beneath the mountain's shadow. From the peak, the true scale of the islands became clear. What first appeared to be a single mountain was a part of a vast archipelago of towering peaks. Archie took in his surroundings before reaching for his map. Marking it down as "The Mirage Islands."

The ascent was difficult, with steep cliffs and winding paths forcing him higher and higher. Yet with every step, more of the islands revealed themselves below him. Waterfalls spilled down the mountainside, tall trees stood upon the cliffs, and far away peaks rose from the sea.

Strange trees clung to its rocky slopes, their pale blue-green leaves contrasted with the grey stone, while smaller islands seemed to gather around its base. Curiosity won over the duck. Archie anchored his boat and began to climb.

After sailing for what felt like days, following no particular course beyond the promise of something unknown over the horizon. The sea had been quiet, almost unnaturally so, until a silhouette began to emerge through the haze. At first, Archie mistook it for a distant cloud. But as he drew closer, the shape started to expand, revealing a towering mountain rising straight from the ocean, its peaks reaching high above the surrounding mist.

Archie Farwing The Wayfinder takes their place in the story. Archie always found himself drawn toward the unknown. While others settled into familiar lands, he pondered what lay beyond the horizons. With a map in hand and little else to his name, he chose to make exploration his purpose, trekking far across the uncharted roads most dared not follow. After a while, his travels led him to a group of outcasts, each coming from their own origins as strange and varied as his. Though he had spent most of his life travelling alone, Archie found himself drawn to their company. They welcomed him without question, and in time, he became apart of the Forgivers.
