Lilah Sage's Recent Lore
As she drew closer, the shape behind it slowly revealed itself. A boathouse. A small, weathered structure sitting peacefully upon the water, illuminated by lanterns. Two fishermen stood outside, apparently waiting for travelers who happened to wander their way. Lilah stepped from her boat and approached cautiously. The fishermen greeted her without suspicion. They offered several goods for trade, and Lilah carefully looked through their supplies before deciding what might be useful for her journey. Before she left, however, the fishermen surprised her
After hours upon the water, Lilah began to grow weary. Her eyes grew heavy, and the gentle rocking of the boat threatened to lull her into sleep. She considered stopping for the night when something caught her attention. A light. Far ahead, barely visible through the darkness, a warm glow flickered against the horizon. It wasn’t a star. It wasn’t the moon. And it certainly wasn’t there a moment ago. Lilah adjusted the course of her boat and headed toward the mysterious light.
Biome after biome passed beneath her. Some were beautiful. Others were unforgiving. She crossed strange waters, dense forests, open plains, and lands where the nights felt a little too quiet. There were times when the journey seemed endless, but Lilah refused to turn back.
She knew there was no guarantee that the perfect place would be easy to find. So Lilah packed what she could carry, climbed aboard her boat, and began to wander. Biome after biome passed beneath her. Some were beautiful. Others were unforgiving. She crossed strange waters, dense forests, open plains, and lands where the nights felt a little too quiet.
She wanted a place she could call her own, a home she could build with her own hands, and perhaps, in time, something greater than a home. A life. A community. A place where others could belong, too. Or Not. I want them to have the freedom to come and go as they please. To not feel trapped in life.
But the feeling never disappeared. So Lilah made the hardest decision of her life. She left. There was no crying or begging me to stay. No curse. No dramatic farewell. Just a young fairy who finally realized that staying somewhere simply because it was familiar wasn’t the same thing as belonging there.
Her family though, They wanted her to remain in the village. Follow the traditions of their people, and eventually take her place among them. And For a while, she convinced herself that they were right. Maybe the world beyond the forest wasn’t worth leaving everything she knew behind.
For every other fairy here, it was the perfect place to grow up. For Lilah, it never quite felt like home. From a young age, Lilah had always been curious about the world beyond the forest. She would spend hours wandering farther than she was supposed to, listening to travelers’ stories while staying hiddin in the trees and wondering what existed beyond them and if I was missing something
Lilah was born in a small fairy village hidden deep within an ancient forest. It was a quiet place, FAR away from the rest of the world, where everyone knew everyone and life followed the same gentle rhythm it had for generations.
