Rowan Timely's Origin
Rowan Timely The Scholar of lost history takes their place in the story. He awoke in a world with no memories of who he was or why he was there, only fragments suggesting he had once been a scholar, researcher, or scientist. After hearing rumors that the world had been destroyed and reset before, his curiosity drove him to uncover the truth behind these strange events and the power that may be causing them. And if he discovers that this power can be controlled, he may have to decide what he wants to do with it.
Rowan Timely's Life So Far
Rowan Timely woke with empty hands and a mind scraped clean, carrying only the ghost of a scholar's habit: questions, always questions. No name came with the waking, no homeland, no face he recognized. Rumor told him the world had been destroyed and remade before, and that was enough to set him moving. He found an abandoned ship near the start of his wandering, intact, no crew, iron and enchanted fishing rods left as though the sailors had simply stepped away. Further out, near Astral Peaks, he raised a rough shack on a floating island and met a statue of one of the peaks' creators, learning that the old civilization and that high place were bound together in some fashion he could not untangle. Westeria gave him the first thing resembling a home. Lady Violet Ceddar was kind and looked out for her people, and Rowan called the place his without much deliberation. He wrote the coronation decree himself and was named Official Historian not long after, accepting the title with the quiet seriousness of someone who understood what it meant to lose a civilization's memory entire.
The caves beneath Westeria had already shaken him once, with screaming voices and a sealed structure of cobbled deepslate and the book he could not read until, by his own account, it began to change as he watched it. He took the book. The entrance opened. Above the structure, a shape appeared that mimicked the precise geometry of his own spectacles, rendered in cinnabar and cobbled deepslate. The laughter that followed was not the screaming. It was worse. He ran, told no one, and set himself to decoding the book alone. The first passage he rendered into legible words ran: It has eyes everywhere, always observing. The voice that wrote it insisted there was no cause for fear, that all eyes were its eyes, even his own. He recorded this without comment.
What followed came in layers, each one distinct from the last. While speaking with Harper Serene in the Nether about the seams in that hellish firescape, he felt a dark pull centered not on the ground beneath his feet but on Westeria, far away, and rushed back to find the laughter and screaming gone and something else in their place, a presence without a sound. Then a second voice came, unlike the first, speaking inside his skull: it called him Time Keeper, told him Westeria would burn, that a dragon slept among them, that a child had been stolen from its home, that the crown would fall. It spoke his name three times, in rage. Hecalyth, shown the deepslate structure above the church, said only that the book had been meant for him. Rowan noted, and did not share with her, that the first voice had laughed at him again while they stood there, and that the second had issued threats at the same moment, which confirmed his suspicion: the two were entirely separate, connected in no way he could trace. Then came the skeleton, a creature larger than any ender dragon the living world had seen, lying in Westeria's earth, reportedly always there. Xzavion, a fellow Westerian, was already beside it when Rowan arrived to check on the circus tent for the upcoming festival. Something about Xzavion seemed different. When Rowan examined the remains, Xzavion pushed him back. Violet arrived. Rowan warned her of the voice, the child with wings, the threatened crown. Then he noticed that Xzavion's eyes, ordinarily red, had turned the same purple as the dragon's bones. The conclusion was not comfortable: the threatening voice belonged to the dragon, and the dragon, it seemed, had been Xzavion's mother. Xzavion fled. Rowan and Violet gave chase, argued, and when they stopped, he was gone. Rowan is left holding a book written by something that claims his eyes as its own, a warning from a dead dragon whose child has vanished, and the knowledge that whatever watches Westeria is not one thing but at least two.
Rowan Timely's Recent Lore
Later, Violet managed to speak with Xzavion herself. Somehow, she seemed to reach him and help him feel better. However, when Rowan approached, Xzavion attacked him and chased him away. Whatever happened today has clearly changed the camaraderie of Westeria. Their friendships, trust, and relationships may not be the same anymore. What happens next, no one knows.
Following a trail of bloody bandages, Rowan found Xzavion and confronted him once more. Eventually, Xzavion returned to Westeria and hid inside the food shed. Rowan decided to leave him alone.
Rowan confronted him, his voice carrying a hint of anger. He told Xzavion that they loved him no matter what, but that his home was Westeria. Before the argument could continue, Violet collapsed. Xzavion carried Violet back to her house and treated her injuries. While unconscious, Violet had a nightmare about people being dead. When she awoke, she was still recovering, and Rowan told her to stay home while he went after Xzavion.
They were teleported again, and this time they finally cornered him. Xzavion suddenly attacked Rowan. Without hesitation, Rowan told Violet to stay behind and jumped after him. Violet, refusing to abandon them and believing it was her duty to follow, jumped as well. Rowan escaped unharmed, but Violet was injured and broke her ankle. The three fought again. Rowan and Violet argued over the fact that they had no way back and that continuing the search seemed pointless. Before long, they were teleported once more, appearing in front of the dragon’s skull with Xzavion there.
Violet was immediately confronted by the voices. Rowan and Violet became separated, but eventually reunited, only to discover that Xzavion was nowhere to be found. Rowan bargained with his mother, asking her to transport them to him. She agreed, sending them to an End City. They chased Xzavion once again, but he vanished before they could catch him.
The dragon’s voice returned, telling Rowan that Xzavion had gone back to the place where he had been stolen from. Rowan knew exactly what that meant: the End. Violet refused to go at first. She had responsibilities to Westeria and did not want to return to the place where she had once heard the screams of people who may have been her friends before the reset. Rowan eventually convinced her that they could not leave Xzavion alone, and together they entered the End.
Rowan then noticed that Xzavion's eyes, which were normally red, had turned purple, the same color as the dragon's remains. They realized the voice in Rowan's head belonged to the decaying dragon, which had been the Ender Dragon before the reset and was, incredibly, Xzavion's mother. Xzavion fled, and Rowan and Violet chased after him. Eventually, they cornered him, but Rowan and Violet began arguing. By the time they stopped, Xzavion had disappeared.
A dragon’s skeleton was discovered in Westeria today. Rowan found it while checking on the progress of the circus tent for the upcoming festival, where he encountered Xzavion. Something about Xzavion seemed different. As Rowan examined the massive, decaying dragon, Xzavion suddenly pushed him away. Violet soon arrived, and Rowan warned her about the strange events of the day: a mysterious voice speaking in his head, repeating a phrase about how “the crown will fall,” and the kidnapping of a child with wings.
Found this Skeleton of what seems to be a bigger version of the ender dragon after the experience in the cave with hecalyth and whats funny is Xzaver a fellow Westerian was there too apparently this has always been here
I did not tell hecalyth while down there that the deity from yesterday was laughing at me again but what is weird the other entity from today while the other one was laughing proceeded to tell me threats again which confirmed my suspicion the two are seperate they are not connected in any way
